Where Do We Go From Here?

Writer's picture: Bro. Garry McDevittBro. Garry McDevitt

Resurrection Sunday reminds us:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.“

(2 Corinthians 5:17)

As we leave the Resurrection Celebration and head toward the weeks of Pentecost, we must wonder: What next?

Do we move into no man‘s land and wait for next year? Do we stuff Christ in our pocket and carry on until death?

What do we do beyond Resurrection Sunday, and our experience of salvation through a risen Lord?

Paul tells us plainly where to go.

We find these words in ‭‭(2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17-21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

and has given us the ministry of reconciliation...

...and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us:

We are to tell others! We are to be representative ambassadors for God’s Message.

One may ask, “What is the message?”

Here it is.

“For He (God)

made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin,

to be sin (on the cross) for us,

that we (who believe in His resurrection), might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Now isn’t that simple?

Go tell!
