Two Anchor Truths For Troubled Times

During this Pandemic which has in some ways been misused and misinterpreted we need to find a way to remind ourselves of some important truths.

if we listen to the political media and focus on that it will take us away from what stabilizes us and makes us steady during uncertainty.

One of those truths is that God is still on His throne and He changes not! That means He still rules in our lives. That truth helps us realize that our hope is in Him! We must anchor our boat to such a truth!

we must recall it and recount it and remind ourselves of it often. It will guide and guard our heart from panic.

“Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and

One sat on the throne. And He who

sat there was like a jasper and a

sardius stone in appearance; and

there was a rainbow around the

throne, in appearance like an

emerald.”

‭‭. (Revelation‬ ‭4:2-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The second truth is that God still loves us, and nothing can separate us from that love. This truth helps us know that He wants good for ya and not evil. Even in chastening, God‘s gracious and loving intentions shine through. We also need to remind ourselves of this truth. The modern media and political outlet will not remind us of such truth.

We can count on God’s sovereignty and rulership over the universe, including our individual lives, and we can count on God’s love.

These never change.

“Who shall separate us from the

love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or

distress, or persecution, or famine,

or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As

it is written: “For Your sake we are

killed all day long; We are

accounted as sheep for the

slaughter.” Yet in all these things we

are more than conquerors through

Him who loved us. For I am

persuaded that neither death nor

life, nor angels nor principalities nor

powers, nor things present nor

things to come, nor height nor

depth, nor any other created thing,

shall be able to separate us from

the love of God which is in Christ

Jesus our Lord.”

‭‭ (Romans‬ ‭8:35-39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
